Loop4Live is a midi footswitch dedicated to Ableton Live that offers a new way to control your computer. Loop4Live turns your PC/Mac into a looper station, without the need to access a monitor (or a mouse): All the main features are available on Loop4Live thanks to a large screen, led rings, 10 footswitches and 5 rotary encoders.

Use a drum loop instead of a basic metronome, it’s so easy ! We provide you free drum samples.
The scene mode to launch and stop all tracks in one click. The effects mode to control all effects with the expression pedals. The free mode to customize notes send by the pedal.

I use the loop4live pedal to cue backing tracks from Ableton every day sometimes 3 times a day. Being able to trigger them with my feet so I can focus on playing guitar frees me to trigger or cut tracks without interrupting the flow of a song. The little LED screen shows me the information I want to see (“song title” and “individual track title”) so I have total confidence that the track I’m triggering is the one I want. This little pedal has been a game changer for me.

I spent some time with Boss Loopers and realized if I wanted to do anything with the audio files after recording I needed to look elsewhere to looping in a DAW. Since I’ve been a longtime user of Ableton Live I decided to purchase Loop4Live and give it a try. I’ve only been using this for a few weeks but it’s a pretty amazing piece of hardware with some great programming at it’s heart. I’m finding new features all the time and new ways to use this. Looking forward to using this for song construction and Live performance. Great Stuff!
